Ceramage
Ceramage is a zirconium silicate micro ceramic which creates indirect restorations that exhibit virtually the same light transmission as natural teeth, maintaining a remarkable translucency. Ceramage bonds to a variety of substructures, including non-precious and high noble alloys. With an extensive shade selection for natural tooth and gum color reproduction, in addition to new bleach white shades, Ceramage can be used to create superior anterior and posterior crowns, veneers, implant-supported restorations and inlays and onlays. Ceramage full set of gum colors are also ideal for replicating gingival anatomy.
-
- Microfine structure gives high compressive strength
- Does not vitrify, maintaining excellent color stability
- Outstanding tensile strength and elasticity
- Superior wear characteristics
- Gum colors ideal for gingival modification, implant cases and previously fixed porcelain restorations
SHOFU RAVES AND RECOMMENDATIONS
Ceramage
Ceramage exhibits perfect bond strength to any alloy, even to titanium.
Ceramage can be used on existing porcelain restorations. For the best glaze on Ceramage, use Dura Polish and Dura Polish-Dia.
“As a dental laboratory owner, it’s important to me to have materials that meet the demands of the ever-changing dental industry and Ceramage, far exceeds other composite materials on the market in versatility, strength, and esthetics.”
~ Jamey Schropp, CDT; Midwest Dental Arts, Inc., Cedar Rapids, IA
“I feel the strength and wear characteristics of the material are superb, along with the more favorable flex properties as compared to the stiffer ceramic inlays/onlays. This makes Ceramage the ideal material for indirect composite restoration.”
